Executive Mosaic is seeking a Sales Manager in the Washington DC area to assist in the management and growth of the sales business in our exclusive, member-driven, Business Executive networking organization.

This position entails a base salary commensurate with experience and uncapped commissions, as well as full medical, and dental benefits, 401k, and PTO.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

* Above all else, the successful candidate for this position must possess the ability to help sustain, and grow, revenue, while building strong relationships at the senior executive level within an established base of large and medium sized companies

* The sales manager will work with the VP, Sales to manage a growing sales team and increase revenue opportunities

* Manage sales reporting and forecasting

* Generate new revenue opportunities and new logo leads

* Work with existing customers to expand revenue and opportunities

* Assist with the training of new members to the sales team

* Build and expand your network and relationship base at the executive level

* Wide array of products and services to sell and upsell to the client base

* Assist in members outreach to encourage extra event attendance

* Work with remote sales support staff to generate research, reports and leads

* Use LinkedIn as a platform to help grow corporate awareness

* Use Salesforce as the enterprise information management system

Qualifications:

* As a leader in our Sales team, the Sales Manager is expected to be an innovative, and open, thinker with a positive attitude. They must be organized with the ability to easily multi-task, work well in a group setting and thrive under pressure.

* 5+ years of high end Outside Sales and Account Management experience

* Experience with C-Suite sales strongly desired

* Sales Management experience strongly preferred

* Knowledge of defense, national security, or intelligence sectors a plus

* Self-starter with self- confidence to engage with, and market to, senior business leaders

* Expertise in using Linked In as a professional networking medium

* Bachelors degree (preferred).

* Computer skills mandatory. Salesforce experience required social media experience a major plus

**Business Manager**

Sheri Page has been with Executive Mosaic since the company was born. Hired in October of 2002, Sheri was instrumental in getting our sister companies, The Potomac Officers Club and ExecutiveBiz, up and running. Sheri is responsible for all of the day-to-day human resources, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer service and overall office management for the company.

Prior to Executive Mosaic, Sheri worked for many telecom companies in the area. Employed by MCI in 1985, Sheri spent ten years at the company supporting various members of the executive management team. Sheri later worked for the CFO of LCI Communications, which was later acquired by Qwest Communications.

Sheri has a degree in Early Childhood education from Frostburg State University, where she was a disc jockey on the campus radio station for 4 years. Sheri is happily married and lives in Bethesda, MD.

**Chief Executive Officer & Publisher**

Jim Garrettson founded Executive Mosaic in 2001 in an effort to build an exclusive forum and cross media platform exclusively for top-tier executives in the greater Washington D.C. market. His efforts produced an array of highly specialized internet-based media properties, publications and event driven executive peer groups. Sensing the continued growth of the Government Contracting community and consolidation of the mid-tier companies, Garrettson evolved his models and efforts to strategically pursue this key market segment. Today, he has created a prestigious series of private networking communities for top executives, and serves as publisher for the growing number of Executive Mosaic online and print media outlets.

A serial entrepreneur and veteran of the fast-growth technology and telecommunications industries, Garrettson is also Founder and President of TownHall Teleconferencing, and earlier served as EVP of Sales and Marketing at Net2000 Communications, SVP of North American Sales for Satellite based streaming media provider Cidera, President of Teleglobe Business Solutions, SVP of Sales at Qwest Communications where he ran the National General Business sales force and various positions with MCI Telecommunications. Garrettson is a graduate of the University of Hartfords Barney School of Business and serves on the advisory board of the George Mason Universitys College of Science.
