Kitchen Assistant Frolick, Inc. Kitchen Assistant Reston, VA Full time **Description**

**The Opportunity:**

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be critical in building out Frolicks pipeline and initial customers base. Under the supervision of the Hub Assistant, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse and kitchen production process work.

You will be responsible for picking, packing, sorting and moving our orders to our delivery assistants. Since we deal with food, we lean on all of our team members to help sanitize and maintain an orderly production workspace. As an early team member, you will get an unique opportunity to be an integral part of a high-growth startup and define its success story.

**Your Responsibilities:**

* Comply with all Safety and Food Handling Regulations

* Be comfortable wearing proper PPE in an air conditioned environment

* Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory and staging finished products for final distribution

* Assist with picking, reheating, and packing time-sensitive customer orders accurately and efficiently

* Keep inventory, loading and unloading areas, and production environment clean and neat

**Requirements**

At least 18 years of age

High school diploma preferred

Must show proof of COVID Vaccination

Must have valid drivers license

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Warehouse Experience - specifically in production kitchen or food warehouse

Kitchen equipment familiarity is a huge PLUS

You are comfortable with ambiguity and highly entrepreneurial - there will be room to grow

You have a bias towards execution, a desire to execute, learn and iterate
