Pool Grill Attendant

Start Date - Mid-Late May

Mount Vernon Country Club is currently seeking part-time pool grill attendants. The pool is open 7 days per week for Members and Guests (weather permitting) from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This is the perfect summer job for local high school students and/or recent graduates. Schedule for this position will vary from week to week. The right candidate is outgoing, friendly, and able to multi-task in a busy food-service environment.

Duties include but are not limited to the following;

* Complete daily pre-shift duties as directed by Supervisor

* Ensure station is stocked, organized, and kept sanitary

* Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers, Members and their Guests

* Deliver exceptional service by consistently displaying high levels of attentiveness and promptness

* Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas, and at times the pool facility

* Have a proactive approach to work and having a service-minded personality

* Assist with setting up and breaking down various events and buffets

* Must be able to be on feet throughout shift in an outdoor environment

* Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

* Food service experience preferred
