Plateau Group is seeking for a Power BI Developer for maintaining and managing their existing suite of products, ideal candidate should possess below skillset. Using Microsoft Power BI and other supporting design tools, the candidate will develop data-driven reporting solutions that measure outcomes, business performance KPIs, and perform trend analysis.

Plateau Group is seeking for a Power BI Developer for maintaining and managing their existing suite of products, ideal candidate should possess below skillset. Using Microsoft Power BI and other supporting design tools, the candidate will develop data-driven reporting solutions that measure outcomes, business performance KPIs, and perform trend analysis.
- Design and develop PowerBI solutions
- Perform data model design and implementation
- Provides technical support in delivering solutions/services, and providing tool functionality advice to report users.
- Handling incidents, problems, requests & changes for the applications developed in Power BI and other solutions.
- Work concurrently across multiple technologies (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, etc.) depending upon specific needs.
- Perform data transformations to make data in format which can be easily scaled across different departments.
- Manage multiple parallel assignments and meet specified milestones.
- Collaborate with other report developers, data warehouse developers and source system IT teams.
- Optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization.
- End-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards.
- Analyzing complex business problems and issues and using data visualizations to provide insight to decision makers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working directly with Power BI data model (M, DAX) and Power BI report development.
- 3+ years' experience with writing and debugging SQL queries and ETL.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Hands-on working knowledge of SQL Server
- Data experience (data architecture, data modeling, data engineering).
- Ability to integrate reporting components from multiple data sources.
- Capable designer of information visualizations and dashboards with attention to detail.
- Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Ability to document business requirements and translate into technical reporting specifications.
- Effective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with data warehouse database and ETL development is a strong plus
- Experience with other BI and reporting tools, such as Tableau, is a strong plus
- Experience as Power BI installation and administrator, is a strong plus
