Quality Assurance and Training Specialist - Patient Access & Support Services | Luminis Health Care Enterprise

Here are the key responsibilities and requirements:

  • Design and maintain training materials and resources for the Patient Access and Support Services Team.
  • Conduct new hire departmental training sessions and provide ongoing support and coaching.
  • Develop competency assessments and conduct training evaluations.
  • Monitor quality of work, identify areas for improvement, and develop training plans.
  • Collaborate with department leaders on performance improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on system changes and updates to ensure efficient workflows.


Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of related Patient Access experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior experience in Registration/Scheduling/Pre-Certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and conducting employee training programs.
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement methods and process redesign techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • CHAA certification preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
  • Epic Credentialed or obtained within 12 weeks of hire.
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in a Healthcare related field or Business Administration preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field in lieu of degree.
