• Experienced with CAD/CAM Programming with MasterCAM
• Knowledge with Lathes, Mills
• Train new operators
• CMM knowledge
• G&M Code expertise
• Determines machining instructions
• Develop prototypes and test new programs/methods working in a hands-on environment with shop floor personnel to gain feedback on potential improvements.
• Determines the sequence of shaping operations
• Chooses the cutting tools needed
• Analyzes the job orders, drawings & blueprints
• Writes programs or modifies existing programs & set-up own jobs
• Translates instructions into CAM program
• Checks the program and runs a simulation to ensure that machines and programs operate correctly and that the products meet specifications
• Work in fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Provide a great level of attention to detail & focus on the given task
• Follow all company rules & polices, follow all safety rules & quality standards
• Work with team members to maximize productivity & efficiency
• Experience with Solidworks
• 3D Modeling experience. Inventor experience would be a plus.
• Uphold all ISO & OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above
• Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
• Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills
• Candidate has to be a strong team player
• Candidate has to be reliable
• Knowledge of lifting techniques
• Ability to read blue prints
• ERP experience
• Perform under AS9100 standards
• 3-7 years as a CNC Programmer is required
• 3-10 years of Machine Shop experience required- CNC Mill, Lathe, and or Grind

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
