***What you will do***

We are currently seeking an experienced ***General Manager*** to join our growing talented team! The General Manager will oversee all aspects of production including cultivation, lab, and packaging. We are seeking an individual that is comfortable with working both indoors and outdoors. This individual is responsible for plant safety, quality and production metrics. This individual will manage the production, lab and cultivation teams. Site quality manager will be a dotted line report. The position reports to the Director of Operations.

**Highlighted Responsibilities**

* Manage cross functional team

* Create production goals based on needs of supply chain

* Determine critical inventory levels and manage to them

* Manage labor and material costs

* Ensure state regulations are being followed

* Interface with internal and external customers in supply chain

* Develop and maintain site quality metrics

* Develop equipment and labor capacity models to understand scaling needs

* Address team HR concerns

* Interact with electronic inventory management system

***What we are looking for***

* Experience managing production systems with multiple shipment points in value stream

* Ability to communicate to diverse team

* Strong quantitative skill set

* Adapt to rapidly changing environment

* Ability to use multiple software platforms and potentially develop personal tools

* Experience working in USDA/FDA regulated environment

* At least two years of people management experience

* Can prioritize with minimal direction

* Experience with conflict management

* Familiar with multitiered supply chain

* Familiar with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (or similar)

* Ability to participate in physical labor (lift up to 50 pounds) on occasion

* Experience with HPLC or GCMS in a laboratory setting

* Experience with machine automation

* Bachelors Degree in Management, Engineering Discipline, Science Discipline

* MBA or Advanced technical degree is preferred

* Can work weekends or evening as job demands

* Ability to communicate orally with team

* Occasional heavy lifting may be required

* Ability to work with a computer and remain seated or standing for extended periods of time

* Low to medium level machine noise will be regular
