Job description

Insight Global is looking for an AV Specialist sitting fully on-site in SW, Washington, DC supporting a large government customer. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
-Monitor incoming and requests for assistance with AV setups via Ivanti Ticketing System.
-Disburse and retrieve scheduled AV Mobile Resources such as Microsoft Surface Hubs and Avocor Interactive Display Units.
-Assist Classroom Instructors with direct basic instructions on the daily use of the AV Units.
-Perform conference room setup of table and chairs in the specified configuration. Creating a Visio drawing of the room configuration for all scheduled setups.
-Perform programming and repairs to agency owned Crestron AV equipment.
-Perform daily inspection of all TSI Conference Rooms, ensuring all systems are operational.
-Perform and routine cleaning of all TSI conference rooms, providing a daily log displaying that day and time the inspections were done.
-Perform and routine cleaning of audio and video equipment.
-Diagnose and resolve media system problems in classrooms.
-Serve as onsite POC for Quarterly Maintenance of all TSI Conference Room Systems.
-Serve as POC on all new installations of AV equipment.
-Maintain inventories of audio-visual backup devices.
-Maintain all AV and Interactive display units and perform upgrades in firmware and patches weekly. Provide a weekly report of all equipment and system statuses.
-Create programming documentation within Teams to keep the Enterprise Telecommunication staff updated on all settings and programming.

Required Skills & Experience
-Experience with installing AV equipment
-Professional experience with Audio Visual Technologies and Systems, including navigation of Microsoft Surface Hubs, Avocor Smart Boards and Crestron AV systems.
-Experience with Microsoft 365 products including Microsoft Teams in support of Cloud-based enterprise telephony and Unified Communications.
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and train end users on technology solutions.
-Well versed with Telephony Systems, including installation and monitoring of Teams Telephone handset.
-Eligible for Public Trust Clearance
