Description: Perform field investigations, calculations, research, drawing production and detailing, and report writing of the assigned civil engineering projects. Identify structural issues, utilize both destructive and nondestructive test methods, perform structural analysis, and develop feasible solutions including, but not limited to, structural strengthening methods. Provide guidance to staff engineers and technicians with field tests and calculations.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience as civil engineer or structural design engineer OR a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 6 months of experience as civil engineer or structural design engineer
  • PE License
  • Ability to manage small projects, good customer interaction skills, and experience working with ENERCALC and ASCE 7-10
  • Weekly day and trimonthly overnight travels to various unanticipated locations within the Northeast Region.
