**Position Overview:**
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join us as a Building and Shop Maintenance Technician. This role is vital to ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of both our building and shop areas.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the building and shop area clean and organized.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and spills.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are well-maintained and stocked with supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
- Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as replacing light bulbs or fixing leaky faucets.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and janitorial equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance roles preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- Reliable transportation to and from the collision center.
