As an Operations Analyst, you will partner with the senior management operations team and play a critical role in leading the development and delivery of metrics and analytics for company-wide initiatives. You will gain in-depth knowledge of NVR systems, databases, and processes to analyze information and provide opportunities for improvement across production, warranty, costing, sales, procurement, and architectural design. You will partner with various functional areas of the company to deliver analytical insights that will influence and impact decisions across the entire NVR footprint.
Primary Responsibilities
Support the Director of Finance and VP of Production Operations by implementing reporting and analysis to measure success of new initiatives, processes, or product changes in multiple business units
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in production, warranty, sales, procurement, and architectural services to provide the appropriate business analytics (prescriptive, diagnostic, descriptive, and predictive) to support business decisions
Develop and support enterprise-wide cost establishment and cost measurement tools and reports
Partner with NVR's IT organization to lead the implementation and utilization of new databases and systems
Utilize data models and statistical analysis to interpret and report on patterns and trends in large data sets to influence and lead change throughout the organization
Lead training programs for Operations on reporting availability and usage
Qualifications
5years of experience of comparable financial analysis, costing, planning, or economic analysis with demonstrated attention to detail
Able to convert large datasets into meaningful operational recommendations and drive action and process improvement
Exceptional problem analysis and problem solving skills
Outstanding written and oral communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level is essential
Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Business, or Finance preferred
Relevant costing or data analysis experience is desired
Employment with a large manufacturing or real estate company preferred
Experience with new home or commercial construction preferred
