Where you will tackle questions such as:"What will the next Space Force satellite be?"or"What is the next generation aircraft the Air Force will employ?"We are looking for team members with strong critical thinking/technical skills; bonus points if you have experience coding in Python/R and/or translating large datasets into digestible visualizations to a non-technical audience.-Salary $82,764 - $153,354-Telework not authorized-Travel authorized up to 25%-This is not a remote position-U.S. Citizenship required.-Three to five years experience requested.-This position meets the professional exemption for the Fair Labor Standards Act (5 CFR 551.206).-Must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI security clearance and be eligible for special access programs.-This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random drug testing for drug use.-Must exhibit a high degree of judgment, resourcefulness, originality, and the ability to foresee the impact of changing technology.-A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, one of the physical sciences, engineering or a closely related scientific discipline is highly desired. At least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
