Overview:

The role of the Market Director involves a range of essential functions. The individual in this position will be responsible for overseeing temporary staffing operations, ensuring the execution of operational directives, maintaining optimal branch operational efficiency, and actively contributing to business development efforts through close collaboration with the dedicated sales and recruiting teams. Furthermore, providing crucial supervision for the Account Executives and Recruiters operating from the DC market to ensure their effectiveness and success will be part of the role. Additionally, overseeing all activities related to customer experience will play a pivotal role in upholding the commitment to exceptional service. This role will require at least 3 days per week in our Tysons Corner office.


Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership and Development:

Spearhead the strategic direction of the sales team, orchestrating its growth and evolution to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

Provide decisive leadership by actively participating in client meetings alongside individual producers, reinforcing client relationships, and guiding sales activities toward successful outcomes.

Mentor, coach, and inspire the sales team, nurturing their professional growth and fostering a culture of achievement.

Operational Excellence and Management:

Oversee performance management activities, ensuring that sales objectives are translated into measurable targets for individual team members.

Develop comprehensive sales reports that distill key insights from market trends, performance metrics, and revenue projections, facilitating informed decision-making.

Champion administrative functions critical to sales effectiveness, orchestrating streamlined processes that elevate team efficiency and contribute to overall success.

Strategic Growth Initiatives:

Drive year-over-year (YOY) Gross Margin (GM) expansion through strategic planning, innovative sales strategies, and effective utilization of resources.

Lead efforts to achieve account and program saturation, strategically expanding the agency's footprint within existing client partnerships while exploring avenues for diversification.

Assume ownership of Net Operating Profit (NOP) accountability, ensuring the optimization of operational efficiencies to achieve financial objectives.

Sales Team Expansion:

Drive the sales team's growth by identifying top-tier talent, overseeing the recruitment process, and fostering an inclusive and high-performing team culture.

Develop comprehensive onboarding and training programs that empower new sales team members with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.

Market Expertise and Collaboration:

Serve as a subject matter expert in remote area market landscape, staying attuned to industry trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics.

Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, partnering closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to align sales strategies with overarching organizational goals.

Client Relationship Enhancement:

Forge and maintain robust relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner to understand their staffing needs and deliver customized solutions.

Innovative Strategy Implementation:

Continuously evaluate and implement innovative sales strategies and methodologies that position the agency as a frontrunner in the staffing industry.

Monitor industry best practices and trends to adapt sales tactics to evolving market dynamics proactively.

Metrics-Driven Approach:

Champion a data-centric approach, utilizing performance metrics and analytics to inform decisions, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.


Education/Experience Required:

Minimum educational requirement of a bachelor s degree in a relevant field with 8 12 years of experience

Preferred background in Business Development and Sales and an ideal track record of 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.

Team Building and Leadership Experience: Expertise in team development and supervision, showcasing the ability to not only recruit top-tier talent but also lead, motivate, and cultivate high-performing teams.

Adaptability to Dynamic Environments: Demonstrated agility in swiftly adapting to evolving circumstances, embracing change as an opportunity to innovate and capitalize on emerging market trends.

Work Location: Hybrid. Reporting into our Tysons Corner, Virginia corporate office 3-4 days per week.
