About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to support the development and expansion of the global consumer protection program. As a program manager, you will report to the Head of Consumer Protection, and work with regional compliance officers, product, engineering, operations and customer service teams to maintain consumer protection programs in support of Remitly's services and operations. You Will:
  • Develop policies, procedures, risk assessments, training materials, reports and other related compliance documentation.
  • Provide compliance subject matter expertise and communicate complex regulatory requirements to Remitly teams.
  • Perform routine compliance reviews to determine compliance with consumer protection laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Advise teams on compliance with Regulation E, UDAAP and other consumer finance laws and regulation.
  • Maintain and gather data for internal metrics, monitoring and reporting and maintain a dashboard on the same.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the compliance control framework and assurance program.
  • Collaborate with Remitly teams to support implementation projects.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders to resolve inquiries related to our consumer protection program.
You Have:
  • 7+ years of program management experience.
  • 3+ years of compliance related experience working at a financial institution or consulting firm.
  • Familiarity with consumer protection laws and Reg. E.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $120,000-$150,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
