Job DescriptionARES is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Nutanix Engineer to join our team in the FallsChurch/Alexandria, VA area. This is a hybrid role supporting the US government.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Act as a support liaison between the customer and Nutanix on any technical issues and contract andlicensing questionsCoordinate and communicate with your assigned Nutanix account team on a regular basis in regard toyour customer s needsProvide enterprise server and storage engineering and support in strict coordination with the customerConduct operations and maintenance of hypervisors, virtual machines, centralized managementplatforms and hyperconverged infrastructureProvide well-thought-out recommendations on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issuesEnsure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiencyResearch latest software releases and bug fixes in relationship to the customers install base andprovide recommendations in line with Nutanix best practicesAct as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for junior staffBasic Qualifications:A minimum of three (3) years of strong skills/experience with: Nutanix AOS/Prism, VMware ESXi, AHV,VM migrations and Linux expertiseStrong experience with server and storage virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructureStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience with other Nutanix products such as ERA, LCM, Objects, Files, Volumes, Calm, Flow,Cloud, KarbonExperience with other Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure or GoogleStrong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skillsPossess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skillsSecurity Clearance Requirements:US CitizenshipAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceCompany DescriptionARES Solutions, Inc (ARES), is an award-winning Small Business headquartered in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
