We are recruiting for a Plumbing Project Manager in the Chantilly, VA area with residential construction experience. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years residential plumbing experience with projects larger than $50,000. Our client is a large regional contractor that specialises in large estate single family homes in the Washington DC metro area. is in expansion mode. The position needs to be filled immediately.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manages and supervises all phases of assigned projects
Prepare and manage schedules
Estimate Change Orders
Negotiate all change orders and maintain change order logs
Manages project budget and approves all expenses
Complete the permit applications
Contract Administration
Buyout of Subcontracts & Equipment
Interface with the owner on all projects assigned
Assemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documents
Perform project punch-list inspection(s), in coordination with superintendent and the owner's representative, and issue punch list to all relevant subcontractors
Stay in contact with past clients for repeat work.
Requirements
Experience: 3 years experience as a Project Manager with projects larger than $50,000 or an incredible career history to be considered
Solid track record of projects that involve residential plumbing
Solid communication skills - both verbal and written
Ability to establish timelines and budgets
Ability to multi-task
Must have solid computer skills
The ability to work as an Estimator is a plus
Experience in estimating and / or managing Mechanical & HVAC projects will be highly considered
