You would join the Space Control Systems Group (SAP) of the Space Exploration Sector (SES) and lead the Space Development Agencys Tranche 1 transport (TL) and tracking layer (TK) test program. The transport layer will provide assured, resilient, low-latency military data and communication connectivity worldwide and to a full range of warfighter platforms. SDAs tracking layer will provide global indications, warning, tracking and targeting of advanced missile threats, including hypersonic missile systems.
The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU / APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC, is seeking a Lead Test and Evaluation Engineer to help SDA integrate, test, and characterize complex space systems in support of the United States Space Force and warfighters.
