Job Description:
- Gather and analyze business and user needs using knowledge in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
- Serve as the liaison between business services and technological services.
- Consult with functional units and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements.
- Capture and review business requirements and translate them into appropriate functional application specifications.
- Identify and document current and state process workflows, develop documents such as business objects inventory list reports, email notifications and forms list, email notifications/letters, user stories, permission matrix, and wireframes.
- Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Performed gap analysis. Document processes, use cases, workflows and requirements.
- Develop Business Process Flows, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and State Diagrams.
- Collaborate with the software development teams.
- Provide critical functional input to the software design and development process.
- Participate in software testing and ensure that the business requirements and functional specifications are met using Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, including developing test scenarios and cases.
- Support required system go-live activities.
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation on all phases of software development.
- Use of MS Project, Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SQL, Hewlett Packard Quality Center (ALM), and related tools.
