Job description
Old Glory DC, the major league rugby team for fans in the DMV, is seeking energetic Game Day Staff . Our home matches are played at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, MD.We're looking to fill positions in a few critical areas, focused on providing a great experience for our fans.
These positions pay $17.00/hour. Home games are played on Saturdays. You may apply for one or multiple matches.
Home Match Schedule with Hours
June 1 (2:00p-10:00p)
June 8 (2:00-10:00p)
June 29 (2:00p-10:00p)
Requirements
Available onsite for each Saturday home game
Arrive for each match at the time provided for each game worked
May be required to lift 40 lbs
May be required to stand or walk for long periods of time
Position Descriptions
Merchandise Staff - Deliver an exciting customer shopping experience in a fast-paced environment. Provide memorable customer service interactions by greeting each customer, helping fans locate desired merchandise, and completing sales transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system. This position is ideal for a candidate with retail or cash handling experience.
Event Staff - Assist Game Day Manager with set up of signage throughout the venue prior to match. Provide a high-quality customer service interaction with all fans which will set the tone for the overall entertainment experience. Assist Game Day Manager with tear down at the end of the match.
