Job description
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in both operations of a feed mill, understanding recipes/rations and grain facility operations. Position Objective Direct, promote, and coordinate operations in a manner that will optimize the cooperative s market share and savingsWork with COFC Safety Manager to ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors, & others on the premisesDirect employees by providing proper guidance, coordination, leadership, & trainingProvide clear communication to the CEO and CFO.Work with Grain Division Manager to control grain quality and manage storageResponsible for driving improved performance, customer relationships, plant asset utilization, and positive employee relations.Developing and increasing the customer base and relationsImprove the cooperative s efficiencyHelp achieve the cooperative s mission and goalsResult in outstanding customer service Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or related fieldMinimum of five years feed and custom-mixing experienceMinimum of five years grain experienceMinimum of five years management experienceMust have a valid Driver License and clean MVR for five yearsMust follow all COFC Safety RulesMust be able to meet and work with strict deadlinesMust possess a strong attention to detailMust have good communication skillsMust be able to work at heights
