The Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Plumbing Engineer for our Bethesda, MD office. As the Senior Plumbing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

In this role, you will:

• Design plumbing systems including medical/laboratory piping and gases
• Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications of plumbing systems and topographical maps
• Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for discipline with clients
• Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment
• Develop calculations for plumbing systems and associated controls
• Perform QA/QC of design work

You will be a great fit if:

• You have a minimum of 10 years design experience
• You have thorough knowledge of plumbing design and corresponding terminology
• You have experience with a wide variety of commercial designs, but extensive Lab/Healthcare is a MUST
• You have an excellent work ethic and attitude
• CPD/CPDT is preferred

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Proven ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects
• Good communication and time management skills
• Excellent ability to read, interpret and implement plumbing design documentation
• Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize tasks
