Position Summary
HealthWell Foundation seeks an experienced, inspirational, and innovative leader who can promote program development and sustainable growth. The leader needs to engender critical trust internally and externally and be committed to creating a diverse culture of inclusion and belonging. The successful candidate will be an effective organizational strategist with a track record of accomplishing complex goals and maintaining positive relationships with the board, direct reports, staff, donors, partners, and other stakeholders. The CEO must be capable of maintaining a compliant, ethical organization and possess strong financial acumen.
Key Competencies
The CEO provides leadership across the spectrum of organizational activities and strategic initiatives, prioritizing a culture of compliance. Working with the Board, the CEO establishes current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies. The CEO ensures that HealthWell can continue to provide quality assistance to the people it serves; ensures regulatory and legal compliance for the organization and effective Board relationships, financial stewardship, people management, development, donor relations, and patient relations; and provides guidance, direction, and authorization to ensure successful implementation of major initiatives. The CEO holds themself accountable and requires appropriate accountability from all HealthWell staff to achieve the Board's expectations.
