DSJ Global is partnered with a leading packaging company in Virginia. The team is looking for a Plant Production Manager to join their team and oversee the site production operations.

Responsibilities of the Production Manager Include:

• Coordinating activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Executing quality control plans, improving on-time delivery performance, managing costs, and addressing staffing needs.
• The position involves analyzing production reports, implementing corrective actions, and initiating cost reduction programs.
• The role also includes promoting and participating in kaizen activities, facilitating Gemba walks, coordinating staffing levels, enforcing human resource policies, and mentoring team members.
• Monitoring daily improvements with team and holding weekly KPI meetings

Requirements of the Production Manager:

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business
• Experience in a production or plant management position within a manufacturing facility
• Packaging experience
• Lean Management experience
