Job description

Our client, a leading provider of composite manufacturing solutions and high value composite parts for aerospace and defense manufacturers worldwide, is seeking a Composites/Inspection professional to join their team in Miamisburg, OH. With a competitive salary range of $28-34/hour, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and a strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, focusing on composite materials for aviation applications.
  • Perform inspections using ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing techniques.
  • Interpret and evaluate test results, ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain meticulous records of inspections, test results, and relevant documentation.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations during all inspection processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements, evolving NDT technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an NDI Level 2 Inspector following industry standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in non-destructive testing, with a focus on aviation-grade composite materials.
  • Familiarity with aerospace regulations and a strong grasp of quality control standards.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Dedication to safety and strict adherence to established inspection protocols.
