Inova Fairfax Behavioral Health Team has a great opportunity for a full-time Clinical Program Coordinator. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and team building skills to develop staff. You will hire and manage service line personnel to ensure effectiveness, efficient operation, and oversight. Maintaining expert knowledge in specific field and identifying national trends as they apply to the population they serve, to establish needs and program priorities, is required. Your ability to manage the program to ensure maximum effectiveness, including development, organization, scheduling, marketing, budgeting, and implementing programs efficiently is of vital importance.

This is a Monday -Friday 8:30am - 5pm position.

Job Responsibilities:

* Provides training, education, and in-services for staff to empower them to perform independently and effectively.

* Coordinates operations meetings to ensure a high level of satisfaction between physicians and department liaisons.

* Supervises staff in a professional and competent manner and counsels, mentors and develops staff to maintain program effectiveness, promote efficiency, enhance morale, and provide a positive working environment.

* Provides direction for clinical practice through staff development and education specific to service.

Qualifications:

Experience:

* Two (2) years in developing, implementing, and coordinating health programs.

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree: Nursing, health, education, social work, public administration, or other related fields. Master degree preferred.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association within 3 months of hire.

License:

* Independent Clinical License state of Virginia in the State of Virginia preferred.
