Location/Remote:

This position is primarily remote, with select day(s) each month working from a location in the DC-MD-VA metro region.Agilious is looking for an Infrastructure/DevOps Adoption Engineer to join our Agile Consulting practice. Our Agile consultants work closely with our customers to support them throughout their project needs. Our goal is to help our clients deliver value quickly and delight their end users by enabling a healthy Agile mindset and practices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with other software development teams.Level of Experience:

Public Trust Clearance must be obtainableResponsibilities:Administer on-prem and cloud-based Windows and Linux servers hosting a variety of applicationsMaintain Windows and Linux servers and applications hosted in Azure environmentsConfigure and support DevOps processes using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOpsDefining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operationInstallation and configuration of MS SQL Database ServersExcellent understanding of Python, batch scripts, PowerShell and JavaManage certificates including requests, renewals, installations, and troubleshootingEnsure system availability, performance, capacity, and monitoring through proper response to incidents, events, and problemsEstablish and manage effective system monitoring and alerting using SplunkAnalyze and address server-level security vulnerabilitiesInstall, configure, maintain, administer, and enhance Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Sonar, and Git serversDevelop and maintain installation, configuration, and operations proceduresExperience with incident management and root cause analysis processesDocumentation of infrastructure SOPs and other artifactsOther similar professional duties may be assigned as neededQualifications:Must have 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure EngineerExperience in managing application servers such as IIS and Tomcat in Windows and Linux environmentsExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issuesExperience with Windows Server AdministrationExperience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, and CoverityGood understanding of networks, firewalls, troubleshooting, and basic network administrationExperience with Splunk or similar monitoring toolExperience with Azure Cloud technologies is a plusAbility to learn new technologies quicklyEffective communication skills to work in a large team consisting of Federal Employees and ContractorsPrior experience with Federal Government projects is a plusEducation:
