****What were looking for:****

Civitas and WPT seek to hire a qualified, full-time employee to manage and organize the World Pickleball Tours tournament events. The Sports Event Coordinator will be the primary individual from Civitas Marketing on site during activations in market. As such, travel is required of this position.

Event management also includes the development of a framework for WPT that cultivates an efficient, growth-oriented operation. This framework, developed in coordination with the Marketing Manager, will address each step of a WPT tournament pipeline- from market research, outreach, concept, activation, follow-up, etc.

Qualified candidates must be highly self-motivated to keep pace with the demanding workload that is a direct result of the rapid growth and change in the sport.

****Key Roles and Responsibilities:****

* Become knowledgeable of the pickleball tournament space and develop a good-standing, working relationship with pickleball partners

* Develop player surveys and post-event recaps to share with the Civitas team and implement adjustments where needed to improve the organization

* Manage the data capture component for on-site tournament activation

* Maximize revenue by finding ways to increase player registration numbers and track internal P/L documents for activations

* Act as the liaison between Civitas Marketing and third parties such as pickleballtournaments.com, facility general managers, tournament registrants, referees, sponsors, etc.

* This position is open to remote.
