A family style setting with friendly, relaxed, hands off approach. Everyone is trained and knows their duties, we don't like to nor want to micromanage.
About the role:
The host is responsible for warmly greeting and directing the guests to the table. Effectively assign tables to accomodate maximum guests with minimum waittime.
- Maintain the seating chart, including making reservations, keeping track of available tables, and managing waiting lists in coordination with kitchen and serving staff.
- Answer the restaurant phone and provide friendly service for all guests.
- Greets guests who arrive for takeout orders and coordinates delivery orders.
- Support the service staff by removing dishes and glasses from tables.
- Thank all guests upon exiting.
