Job description

TAQ Pharma is currently hiring for a maintenance technician to join our team in Columbus!

Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM

STAQ Pharma is looking for a self-starter who is eager to grow within a manufacturing environment and learn more about working in a cGMP facility!

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is a skilled professional responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building systems and equipment within a facility. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of the facility, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to ensure their optimal functioning and longevity.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues reported by building occupants or management.

  • Repair and replace faulty equipment, components, or fixtures as needed to restore functionality.
  • Inspect and maintain the building s interior and exterior, including walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows.
  • Keep track of maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inventory to ensure organized documentation.
  • Implement and follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for building occupants and employees.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and take necessary actions to resolve the issues.
  • Maintain and organize maintenance tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team and Manufacturing Sciences and Technology staff to address maintenance needs effectively.
  • Adhere to maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and building codes.
  • Communicate effectively with building occupants and management regarding maintenance updates and work progress.
