providing education for all stages of life The Washington County Free Library is seeeking an individual skilled in custodial/cleaning abilities. He/she will be responsible for trash collecton, sweeping, duting, vacuuming and dry/wet mopping floors. Duties also include cleaning, santize and restock restrooms, cleaning windows and keeping public/office areas neat and tidy.

He/she may be required to assist in the moving of furniture or equipment in order to clean and to carry items such as cleaning supplies and trash. Must clean, disinfect and store all equipment used a the end of their shift. Reponsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and general upkeep of some of grounds thaty may include snow removal as necessary.

Job Status: Part-time 20 hours per week

Other duties as assigned. Work schedule TBA will include Friday, alternating Saturday and Sunday shift.

Education and Experience: High school diploma and 2 years related experience; ability to read, write and follow instructions or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Skills and Abilities: Must have the ability to follow general cleaning practices of buildings and grounds, materials and equipment; the ability to operate a variety of motorized cleaning equipment (floor buffers, scrubbers, shampooers, floor strippers, now blowers, etc.); the ability to follow eimple oral and written instructions and the ability to move heavy items.

Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
