**Description**

**Environmental Housekeeper** to work at our youth residential treatment facility in Grove City, Ohio. A Housekeeper at The Buckeye Ranch is responsible for the following:

**Schedule:** Monday - Friday (11am - 7:30pm)

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Perform quality and timely janitorial and housekeeping responsibilities in areas.

* Clean, strip, wax, and buff tile floors.

* Vacuum and shampoo carpets and mats.

* Clean and disinfect both client and staff bathrooms.

* Bi-yearly wash walls and windows.

* Perform quality and timely preventative maintenance in areas of custodial and housekeeping equipment and fire and alarm safety equipment.

* Timely response to authorized janitorial or light duty maintenance repair work orders.

* Meet productivity as set by Supervisor.

* Consistently exhibits quality in work standards.

* Working days are organized in an efficient way to minimize non-productive time.

* Workspace is maintained in a presentable, reasonably well-organized way which contributes to efficiency.

* Ensure other housekeeping or janitorial requirements are completed to sustain cleaning standards required by licensing agencies.

* Maintain compliance with appropriate policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and rules pertinent to services provided.

**EDUCATION**

* High School Graduate or GED preferred

* Ability to communicate with clients, visitors, and all colleagues

* Reading, basic math and writing skills required.

* Knowledge of the correct use of chemicals, dilution of chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
