Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Cell Culture Sciences group as an intern. The main objective of this internship is to organize our historical data and utilize programming/scripting skills to automate data analysis for better use of our prior knowledge and enhance the understanding of our cell culture processes and drive optimization. The intern will also learn the basics of upstream process development for antibody production.

- Collaborate with CCS team members to develop and implement data analysis solutions and maintain computational scripts to organize, combine and harmonize
- Write scripts to automate data processing and
- Build statistical models based on historical data and prior
- Individual will contribute to the overall process understanding of cell growth monitoring and metabolite analysis in the CCS group.
- Learn the basics of upstream process Including aseptic cell culture in shake flasks and bioreactors, bioreactor setup and operation, cell growth monitoring, and metabolite analysis.
- Participate in team meetings and present results and findings to CCS
Minimum Qualifications

Rising college sophomore pursuing a degree in related science or engineering field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organization skills in record keeping and data
- Ability to use computational tools or programming languages to visualize data and identify trends and
- Enthusiasm for learning and seeking new
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to perform hands-on work in the
- Ability to work well in group settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with programming, machine learning, data mining or
- Basic knowledge of scripting programs such as Lucullus.
- Basic laboratory skills and/or research experience, such as: lab notebook recording, analysis and interpretation of data, and safe lab practices.
