RFP Sourcing Specialist - Contract (6 months)

Job description

LHH is partnering with a client in Arlington VA to manage their RFP and sourcing responsibilities. This is a CONTRACT assignment - looking to have someone start ASAP.


Really need someone with RFP Sourcing, will also take someone with only Contracts experience. Hybrid (3/2) in Arlington, NO FREE PARKING.

The Sourcing/Contracts Administrator must be customer focused and possess:


The ability to provide support to the Procurement/Sourcing team in the following areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Procurement/Sourcing Team with general day-to-day contract administration duties.
  • Assist with drafting contract documents.
  • Assist with execution of agreements, drafting amendments and service orders, creating and maintaining contract records in database and attaching documentation.
  • Support correspondence creation for management of contracts, i.e., execution process, and communicating to business.
  • Support review of contract metadata and supporting documentation on existing agreement for policy accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicating with suppliers to obtain COI renewals/updates.
  • Assist with normalizing / analyzing RFx responses, identifying outliers and ensuring quote compliance to bid parameters.
  • Assist responding to supplier questions and clarification during RFx process.
  • Conduct market research and data collection in preparation for RFx process.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Contractor personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience writing/reading contracts and contract administration.
  • Work in fast paced environment, and ability to adapt and learn new tools/applications.
  • Strong clerical, administrative, and organizational capabilities.
  • Experience in supporting organizations with, tracking, monitoring, review and coordination efforts.
  • Ability to develop high-quality work products, to include proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience in management, of contract documents, and quality assurance of contract administration.
