**SUMMARY:** Responsible for warehouse operations management.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** Serve as the primary point of contact for the logistics, asset, supply and warehouse management. This position is part of a dynamic, multifunctional team supporting government solutions. The ideal candidate will have on-site supply chain experience controlling the movement and storage of materials within warehouse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

* Overall manager of physical warehouse operations

* Functions as a senior-level logistician professional (management) responsible for directing the requisition, distribution, and delivery functions

* Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems

* Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.

* Maintain metrics, reports, and process documentation

* Design and implement strategies to minimize the cost or time required to move goods

* Acts as a change agent to lead and train employees in the use and understanding of quality tools like: Lean Six Sigma, quality awareness, CMMI.

* Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective program.

**Qualifications**

* **EDUCATION:** Bachelors degree in business, operations, supply chain or related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.

* **EXPERIENCE: 8** years of verifiable experience in logistics management and management of people. Active DoD Secret Clearance.

* **TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:** Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Proficient in fleet management software and various computer programs that manage and match shipment movements.

* **COMPETENCIES:** Ability to communicate effective verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report, and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team. Skill in preparing clear and concise documents, including, but not limited to reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials. Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of import forwarding and customs brokerage in a domestic and/or international capacity. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

* **OTHER:** Ability to travel as needed. Clearance Background investigation

* **JOB SCOPE:** Position impacts multiple business units/segments.

* **WORKING CONDITIONS:** Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.

* **FLSA STATUS:** The position is Exempt. May require the ability to work overtime to meet required deadlines. All work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health are expected to be respected and complied with.
