We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, results driven Regional Director of Retail Marketing that will lead our Ohio markets. Strong understanding of the Timeshare/Vacation Ownership Industry matched with strategic thinking and strong team building are essential.

This role will report to the VP of Retail Marketing and will lead, develop, and inspire a team of usually 2-6 Area Directors and 20-50 indirect reports in all facets of running a profitable business across multiple market areas. The Regional Director will drive alignment with the strategic goals that are set for the region throughout multiple market areas they oversee. They are the conduit between the field and corporate, collaborating across departments and business units, to provide optimal experiences for internal and external customers.

Regional Directors must create a culture of high performance and high engagement while identifying and developing the next generation of leaders. A key responsibility will be to build and retain a strong leadership team. The ability for this leader to recruit, train, and retain top talent is a must in addition to consistently motivating their team.

**This job will be based in Central Ohio.**

**Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities**

* Provide remarkable and memorable customer care when interacting with customers; role model ideal behaviors to ensure Area Directors and indirect reports maintain the same standard.

* Establish and foster positive working relationships with the retail partner management teams in the region.

* Develop and execute a plan to achieve and exceed short and long-term business and financial objectives across assigned market areas.

* Responsible for operational execution including the work, performance, and behavior of Area Directors.

* Drive profitability of stores by leading through and equipping Area Directors with the tools they need to meet or exceed budgetary responsibilities as it relates to the generation of leads and selling vacation packages.

* Review and analyze weekly production reports to identify trends, strengths and opportunities; draw conclusions based on the data, formulate, and implement action plans.

* Audit and uphold brand standards and dress and appearance guidelines in all assigned stores.

* Build a high performing team and bench of talent to achieve, exceed, and sustain business results.

* Proactively partner with Talent Acquisition to understand the talent health of assigned stores by monitoring staffing levels and reviewing staffing data; identify trends and patterns that impact turnover and retention and develop plans to address areas of opportunity.

* Understand and address specific team competency issues and recruit candidates to fill those skill gaps.

* Recruit Area Directors to maintain a fully staffed team based on approved headcount.

* Accountable for the work, performance, and behavior of Area Director; deliver weekly one-on-one feedback conversations to provide coaching and meaningful feedback to build capabilities.

* Identify development opportunities for direct reports so they can maximize success in their current role and be positioned for future career growth opportunities; collaborate with VP and execute the plan they develop for the associate.

* Provide guidance to Area Directors on how to optimize the execution of onboarding, training, coaching, development, and succession planning for their teams to maximize success.

* Create a fun atmosphere that motivates and inspires the team to reach their potential and exceed expectations; recognize individuals and the team for milestones and goals achieved.

* Follow and uphold company policies and procedures with all associates in assigned market areas.

* Seek common ground and sources of agreement with diverse multiple stakeholders, in order to influence more broadly.

* Partner with VP and/or Human Resources on escalated coaching, counseling, performance management, and associate relations matters.

* Ensure payroll is accurately tracked and processed on time.

* Submit compensation related changes prior to deadlines; hold Area Directors accountable to do the same.

* Schedule, attend, and actively participate in team meetings, required trainings, and/or workshops.

* Oversee adherence to all Bluegreen, State and Federal hiring and employment regulations.

* Assume Area Director responsibilities as needed.

* Complete special projects as assigned.

* Travel over 50%

**Requirements**

* Bachelors Degree or Equivalent experience required.

* 4 years marketing management experience and 2 years sales experience required.

* Knowledge and understanding of the timeshare industry, OPC marketing or telemarketing sales is a plus.

* Adept at using technology; working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

* Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

* Willingness to always represent the brand with integrity.

* Adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

* Possess a dynamic personal presence with a strong ability to persuade, communicate and train associates across multiple market areas.

* Lead by example on the floor selling with the managers and reps when visiting assigned stores.

* Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately.

* Proven ability to motivate and hold accountable a large team with specific sales goals. Qualified candidates should possess a dynamic personal presence with a strong ability to persuade, communicate and train employees within their region.
