We are looking for an energetic and dedicated ***Sales and Marketing Manager - Wholesale*** to join our growing dynamic team! The Sales and Marketing Manager Wholesale will continue to grow territory focused on new business development within the specified market for the state of Maryland. This position reports directly to the EVP of Retail & Wholesale. ***Who we are***

***Highlighted Responsibilities***

* Become the brand go-to contact for all wholesale sales in Maryland

* Identify business opportunities with the accounts and work with internal partners to create customized plans to drive results

* Manage and develop annual calendar of tactical trade plans

* Prepare monthly sales reports by product, category, and vendor

* Meet and exceed sales objectives for daily activities and behaviors

* Identifying potential new business opportunities to grow revenue through daily prospecting and connecting with dispensary buyers, local event organizers, MMJ community and health systems

* Expand upon existing account relationships to generate leads for referral business

* Keeping current on industry trends that may impact the business and revenue objectives of the company

* Attending industry tradeshows and networking events as necessary

* Maintaining constant communication with the grow facility, sales, and marketing department to assist them in their efforts and optimize our presence in the state of Maryland

* Participating in weekly meetings with the Goodness Growth team to discuss prospecting efforts, new business initiatives and existing account activities

* Meeting regularly with other departmental managers to communicate any sales efforts that may impact the business

* Provide recommendations to drive future opportunity for the wholesale business

* Partner with Finance and Manufacturing Operations on sales forecasting and revenue targets

* Work with Sales and Marketing teams to develop advertising strategies and promotional activities as needed

* Increase comfort and knowledge around recommendation of Vireo products to dispensaries and patient events

* Facilitate the exchange of unbiased scientific information between the medical community and the company

* Provide field-based feedback information for responding to a request for medication information regarding Vireo products

* Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence

* Complete accurate and timely KPIs reports, projects, and other required documentation.

* Serve as a local sales and marketing resource for internal stakeholders

* Expense Management

**Requirements**

* Minimum of 1+ year in cannabis wholesale sales in the state of Maryland

* 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in beverage alcohol, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods or related industry

* Proven ability to build and execute a sales strategy to generate and develop new business

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and one or more CRM tools

* Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership and negotiation skills

* Must be flexible, work well independently and have a team-oriented approach

* Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

* Must have a legal drivers license and willing to travel
