The primary responsibility of a faculty member in the Virginia Community College System shall be to provide quality instruction for the students. The major emphasis shall be on good teaching by working with students in classrooms, laboratories, individual conferences, and related activitiesto help the student develop their interests and abilities to their fullest capacity to become a better person, a better worker, and a better citizen. Teach courses in Administration of Justice.

Minimum Qualifications The candidate should have knowledge of major concepts, theories and subject matter in Administrative of Justice.

The candidate should have the skill to teach courses in Administration of Justice as well as excellent interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills.

The candidate should have the ability to relate basic principles of ADJ to students and use instructional technology.

Masters degree in Criminal Justice or related field.

Preferred Qualifications Prior experience teaching in higher education.
