Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter's 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel's 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building's legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Caf Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan - a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.

We are looking for... experienced and passionate Housekeeping Attendant for Riggs Washington DC. Our preferred candidate would have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market.

You are someone that thrives in a non-stop environment, has an open mind, a great sense of humor, and loves finding solutions, working with a team and proactively creating positive outcomes.

The ability to be adaptable, calm under pressure, resourceful and efficient is in your DNA.

Core Essential Functions

Replace guest amenities and supplies in room.
Make and clean beds and sheets per Riggs Washington DC Standards.
Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items.
Straighten and clean guest's living area including (desk, furniture and appliances).
Vacuum carpets and floor.
Report any discrepancies to Housekeeping supervisors.

This position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities

Hotel Experience is not required - Fun and welcoming personality is a MUST
A minimum of 1-2 years hospitality experience, especially in housekeeping, is preferred but not required
Willingness to learn
Team player
Ability to lift up-to 25 lbs. without any assistance.
Excellent communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule is required to meet the needs of the business
