Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Execute and fulfill strategic business plans presented by President/CEO and Executive Team. Set team and individual goals to achieve overall strategic business plan goals. Direct operations in a Heavy Distribution Logistics environment.

  • Control direct labor as a percent of sales, shop floor supply spends, and factory repairs and maintenance according to budget.
  • Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages, and salaries
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and distribution.
  • Oversee and direct daily business operations for optimum efficiency.
  • Responsible for proper staffing levels, training, and adequate back-up coverage to ensure we meet customers expectations.
  • Direct manufacturing and distribution personnel to maintain product quality and meet customer requirements.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining safety standards as required by company policies.
  • Lead employees in continuous improvement activities. Demonstrates confidence and assertiveness to effectively organize and implement projects and tasks while controlling operating costs.
  • Responsible for creating a team environment between many different departments, fostering open communication, and breaking down barriers to efficiencies.
  • Communicate with management teams to direct and confirm execution of company processes.



Education and Experience Requirements


  • Minimum 10+ years of plant operations management experience required to include accountability for operations strategy, development, and execution within a high-tech engineering environment..
  • Bachelor s degree - engineering, business management, logistics, etc.
  • Extensive Experience with Distribution Logistics
  • Experience with ERP
  • Ability to manage multiple shifts and monitor overall plant performance
  • Demonstrated success in the manufacturing industry, required.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Expert Level Experience with MS Office.


Salary $100-120k w/ bonus
