Industrial Property Manager

Job description

Our client is seeking an Industrial Property Manager to join their team and oversee a portfolio of industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in commercial property management, with a focus on industrial properties.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day operations of assigned industrial properties, including tenant relations, maintenance, and lease administration.
  2. Conduct regular property inspections and ensure properties are well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
  3. Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  4. Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, including obtaining bids, hiring contractors, and supervising work.
  5. Negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations with tenants, and ensure lease terms are accurately documented and enforced.
  6. Prepare and manage property budgets, including forecasting and monitoring expenses, and ensure properties operate within budgetary constraints.
  7. Collaborate with leasing agents to market and lease vacant spaces, and oversee tenant move-in and move-out processes.
  8. Maintain accurate property records, including lease agreements, financial documents, and tenant correspondence.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting commercial real estate.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commercial Property Manager, with a focus on industrial properties.
  3. Strong understanding of commercial property management principles, lease administration, and maintenance practices.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.
  5. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  7. Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and landlord-tenant laws.
  8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
