Job Details
We are in search of a Plumbing Engineer to join our Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity to lead exciting and complex projects. Our office environment offers a supportive, team-based approach and wealth of opportunities to stretch professionally.
Main responsibilities entail:
- Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents
- Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls
- Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design/bid/build, design assist, design build
- Process contractor submittals, RFIs
- Use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education and Science & Technology
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering from accredited University
- P.E. License
- 10+ years experience
- LEED AP BD=C preferred
- BIM
- You are current with current appropriate codes and technologies
- Revit
- Understanding of engineering systems within a specific discipline, advanced engineering principles and calculations
- Record of consistent quality work
