JOB SUMMARY:
Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Migration Project Manager to lead our cloud migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the migration process, including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization. The candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, migration methodologies, and project management best practices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the migration process, including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization. The candidate should have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, migration methodologies, and project management best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a detailed Cloud migration plan (in AWS), including timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration of existing applications and services to the cloud.
- Manage the migration process, including application testing, data migration, and cutover planning.
- Identify and manage risks and issues that may arise during the migration process.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of new cloud-based services and applications.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize cloud-based solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on cloud migrations
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with migration methodologies, such as lift-and-shift, rehosting, and refactoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage risks and issues.

- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira.
