We are looking for an individual who will maintain customer relationships by handling customer inquiries, orders and request in a professional and friendly manner. Preparing quotes as assigned, based on customer specifications, blueprints and company capabilities in a timely manner. This person will coordinate and communicate with all affected internal and external shareholders in order to meet our customer expectations.
**Job Responsibilities**
* Receive and handle customer orders and issues via telephone, fax, email and customer portals and enter orders into Shoptech E-2 ERP system.
* Review order size, pricing with price breaks, minimum production requirements to ERP information, highlighting items with issues before accepting.
* Quote parts based on company capabilities and guidelines.
* Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
* Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
* Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
* Interface with production, purchasing and shipping to identify and troubleshoot issues.
* Maintain courteous, effective customer contact regarding inquiries/ orders/ forecasts and coordinating solutions when necessary.
* Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Monitor Kanban system entering orders to meet expected customer usage.
* Attend team meetings.
* Maintain customer information in ERP system.
* Other administrative duties as assigned
**Job Requirements**
* High School or GED.
* 3 year experience in fabrication and/ or metal stamping.
* Blue print reading.
* Strong computer literacy with Word, Excel (Shoptech E2 experience a plus)
* Autocad / Sigmanest experience a plus
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter
* Strong organizational skills
* Accurate data entry and paperwork
