West Fraser currently has an opening for an **Accounting Clerk**. This position will support the accounts payable function for the corporate office. Primary responsibility is to oversee the inventory levels of vendor-managed inventory locations by receiving and recording shipment quantities as the product is delivered and shipped out.

**What you will do:**

Input receipts of inventory, document shipments for invoicing, and update inventory by preparing billing reports on inventory shipments

Report daily inventory receipts and shipments by recording inventory activity to the ledger

Reconciling weekly inventory levels, analyzing discrepancies, and communicating with VMI customers on an ongoing basis

Track shipping by the customer to ensure all shipments are billed in a timely manner

Develops business relationships with customers

Special projects and other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills you will need:**

Bachelors degree in finance or accounting

An analytical with strong attention to detail

Strong research and analysis skills.

Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage competing priorities.

Team management skills.

Excel savvy
