Customer Service Representative

Fully Remote USPTO Job Type Full-time Description RIVA Solutions is seeking to hire a Customer Service Representative to support the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

**Responsibilities:**

* Position is the front-line customer service center for the government customer and responds to public inquiries seeking information on a variety of agency programs and services in a call center environment.

* The goals are to efficiently provide customers with accurate responses to their requests in a courteous and professional manner.

* Maintain and continually foster a positive working relationship with peers and leadership

* Adhere to scheduled lunches/breaks

* Accurately document call descriptions according to the SOP for call documentation

* Distribute accurate information to USPTO callers and/or transfer to the appropriate business center in accordance to the information provided in the QRG and SOPs

* Ensure that interactions with USPTO customers are professional and in accordance with USPTO Guidelines

* Must be receptive to coaching and feedback by the USPTO leadership

* Must be receptive to adaptations in policy and procedures

* Any additional duties as assigned by the RIVA Solutions, Inc leadership

Requirements **Basic Qualifications:**

* Ability to obtain a Public Trust

* High School Diploma, some college preferred but not required

* At least 1-2 years of previous call center/customer service experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experience Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Strong typing/email correspondence experience.
