At FutureCare Coldspring, our Patient Transporters ensure our patients are transported to/from the dialysis center. Our Transporters will work under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse.

• Transport patients and clients in a safe and professional manner
• Assist patients and clients as needed to ensure safe transfer
• Effectively communicate with Charge Nurse regarding scheduled progress and the ablity to receive and perform additional duties/instructions
• Ensure Dialysis recliners are properly disinfected between clients and returned to Dialysis Suite at end of shift
• Comforts patients and their family members by offering support and encouragement
• Complete "MOLST " commnication book forms in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all standards and procedures

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivialent
• Must have at least 1year experience woring in a healthcare setting
• GNA certificaiton highly preferred
• Must have a current CPR/BLS certification
• Must be comfortable working with the geriatric population
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team centered environment
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
• Must be able to work as scheduled
