Qualifications:
NJ Preschool through Grade 3 Certification AND NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification
Prior Preschool teaching experience
In-depth knowledge of and experience with NJ Student Learning Standards
Experience teaching Special Education and Creative Curriculum
Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal
All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the AppliTrack portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
