**JOB SUMMARY**

* Manages all Retail operations for all Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse games and events.

* Responsible for the training and development of the Team Shop Manager and the Retail Satellite & Training Manager. This includes responsibility for maximizing day to day operational efficiencies in areas of sustainable results, revenue planning, merchandise flow, inventory, planning, staffing, overall organization, and maintenance of all the Retail locations.

* Partner with the Director of Retail Operations and the Warehouse Manager in streamlining the flow of merchandise to generate revenue and bridging both retail operational teams together. Creates and executes strategic training plan to support the on-going development of the Retail team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES*****Business Management***

* Supervise and manage the staffing needs for daily operations of all Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse events, trailer/offsite appearances, and Cleveland Charge games including Retail Team Leads and Team Members.

* Assist and support the Director of Retail Operations with the execution of retail strategies involving team development, merchandising flow, fan experience, innovative ways to generate revenue, and all aspects of retail operations.

* Partner with the Retail Warehouse Manager at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to streamline the flow of merchandise and to maintain inventory levels.

* Lead the Team Shop Manager and the Retail Satellite & Training Manager to sustainable results through extensive training and development planning.

* Develop sound operational and budget plans associated with managing retail merchandise strategies for Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse events.

* Develop and execute training plans, distribution plans, maintain an expense budget, maintain payroll and detailed operational strategies to drive the retail business.

* Audit day-to-day operations and overall operations initiatives.

* Continue to evaluate and update all Retail standard operation procedures to streamline operations in order maximize sustainable results.

* Maintain ongoing communication with the Director of Retail Operations, buying team and Retail Leadership team.

* Utilize all resources to assure best practices and time management.

***Fan Experience***

* Ensure staff training is consistently focused on the delivery of an ELEVATED fan experience.

* Manage the planning and execution of all event day functions to support flawless fan interaction, including staffing, visuals, and operational support.

* Utilize and analyze reports to gain knowledge of trends to maximize opportunities.

* Actively drive the on-going training and development of Retail Team members.

* Develop superior selling, service, merchandising, leadership and operational skills throughout Retail Team.

* Ensure compliance with all People and Culture (HR) standard operating procedures.

* Hold staff accountable for results: productivity, sales (when it applies), operations, service and visuals.

* Provide consistent staff feedback including recognition, coaching/counseling as needed.

***Merchandising Operations***

* Maximize opportunities for FieldHouse events, corporate and offsite events to promote brand initiatives.

* Communicate merchandising feedback and opportunities to buying team.

* Maximize efficiencies and accuracy pertaining to the movement of merchandise as it relates to receiving, distributions, across all locations.

* Oversee and execute markdown, promotions and liquidation strategies within areas of responsibility.

* Support all POS functions through expertise in this area.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Retail management, hiring, staff training and inventory management (preferably in sports entertainment, specialty store or a department store environment).

* Experience in directly managing 5 or more employees.

* Must be customer service oriented with a passion for achieving and operating a highly professional retail environment.

* Experienced with inventory control procedures and policies.

* Positive attitude and work ethic are a must.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Must have strong people skills to motivate staff to achieve goals.

* Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

* Computer knowledge and/or experience including but not limited to all Microsoft applications and navigating the internet.

* Experience with retail merchandising software packages that include financial budgeting modules, labor management modules, price management modules, inventory tracking and sales models are important.

* Ability to work extended hours based on event schedules, workload and deadlines.

* Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50lbs.

* Required to work extended periods of walking, standing, frequently bending, stooping, sitting, reaching, lifting and light load carrying.

* Required non-game and event duties as directed by job responsibilities and workload.
