**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS****:**

An executive steward must direct her team in preparing the facility for customer use. This includes ensuring that all dishware and pre-prepared food such as salads and beverages are ready.

Oversees that all condiments and utensils, organizing, and know where they need to be at the end of the shift, as well as throughout its course,

Directing staff members in the cleaning and maintenance of the dining room and food preparation areas.

Maintaining sanitation duties and proper maintenance of food and food storage

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact. Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs and resolve complaints. Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
