Job description
Our client is seeking to add an Auto PIP Claims Adjuster to their Maryland office. This person would be responsible for directly handling moderate to complex PIP claims from inception to close. This will include first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP), Medical Pay, collision, loss-of-use, and 3rd party property damage exposures.

Salary/Benefits:
- Responsibilities of this position include coverage analysis, investigation, reserving, and settlement of assigned PIP claims.
- Make coverage determinations and inform customers as to the appropriate course of action.
- Develop plan of action to proactively conclude claims, timely evaluate damages, engage other parties in negotiations and settle claims pursuant to guidelines.
- Establish and maintain proper reserves for each claim to accurately reflect the financial exposure.
Requirements:
- 3 to 7+ years of PIP/Med Pay claims experience
- Experience handling PIP claims in Maryland or Pennsylvania
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of applicable claim procedures, statutes, compliance, insurance laws and insurance coverage
Salary/Benefits:
- $65,000 to $85,000+ annual base salary plus Bonus
